Network

The Awareness Network, one of many, wants to bring all humans, who wish to see a different reality reflected in the world and are willing to take the steps needed, together. It can be a large umbrella organization or several small associations/projects that network, interact and strengthen each other. Its main characteristic, that might distinguish it from other networks, is its intention to have a clear Identity, shared amongst its members. This Identity, which we consider key for organic development and impactful action, shall not only be reflected in our mindsets, but also in the tools and practices we use. It is not set in stone and will most likely evolve together with the Network and its members (the Tribe).

Who is the Awareness Network for?

Individuals, Communities and Projects, Associations and other Organisations. Everyone who feels resonance with the values and vision of the Network and is willing to put effort in changing the game. Also, organisations and businesses that exist in the old paradigm/system but want to shift. For everyone who wants to live a self-determined life (which is not possible by modern standards and structures) and is willing to claim back our basic human rights.

How Does the Awareness Network work?

By defining and listing each project’s (or member’s) needs, assets and visions, it is possible to develop common strategies to meet these needs and to make use of our collective skills. Living according to our values and principles and nourishing trust in all our actions, allows us to escape the limited space of our personality or societal role. Sharing knowledge, best practices, financial and human resources, creating tools and infrastructure (physical and digital) are all steps towards forming a resilient organism. Many ideas and suggestions have already been collected, but harvesting your input is what counts the most! Some obvious examples*:

  • central administration for each project’s presentation, communication etc
  • shared contact pool and knowledge database
  • exploring and using alternative forms of economy within the Network
  • exploring and using alternative digital tools (open source, secure and ethical)
  • combining efforts to organize relevant gatherings, workshops and events throughout the Network
  • collective fund raising
  • collective brainstorming

*These examples might seem abstract at first glance but offer enormous variety in terms of possible practical iterations.

The Structure of the Awareness Network:

We all want to form a healthy organism, but our resources in time and energy may vary. There are three types of membership, three ways to participate*:

1. The Core-Group (blueprint of we**, takes decisions with consent)

The initiators and people who are actively involved from the date of founding. Plus everyone who wants to join (with consent from the Core-Group, there will be an adaptation/evaluation period).

2. The Satellites (manifesting members, blueprint of we, are voting)

People who take on specific roles that are necessary for the continued existence and growth of the Network. This also includes people who take on leadership roles in the Network’s various projects or events.

3. The Stars (supportive members, receiving services and goods, are not voting)

People who only take part in a project for a certain period of time (as a volunteer or as a paid employee). People who use the Network’s services. Sponsors!

* Each Project/Association/Group of people connected to the Network should have at least one representative in one of the two main groups (The Core-Group & The Satellites).

** The blueprint of we: A way to get to know each other better, especially how we react in stressful situations, what our signs are (how we communicate that), how we can be assisted.

Branding

The idea is that the Network acts as a confirmation of the mindset and practices of each project (something like an ISO, but not… more a definition and confirmation of our common ground). Individuals and Projects (with their individuals…) have to agree to the vision and ethics of the Network. Existing Projects are keeping their integrity, independence and governance. They could be presented as “Awareness Projects” (with their name in the logo) or keep their branding and visualise their belonging to the Network by adding its logo (to clarify and demonstrate the Tribe that forms it). Projects that will come to life inspired by the Network will also be called “Awareness Projects” (with a chosen name or just the city/region).

The Tribe

All humans, projects, groups, associations that form the Network, also form our Tribe. Which is not defined by nationality, religion, gender, culture, but by the intention to be a part of a new paradigm, a word in a new story. Let’s find each other and come together!
